I’m the author of “Love and Terror in the Middle East, 5th Edition.” It is about facing hostility and passing through a maze of walls and checkpoints in Israel and the West Bank to lead interfaith activities. They are aimed at easing the region’s bloody path to peace. Many people have expressed interest about my present interfaith activities in Israel and Palestine.
In this new 5th Edition includes a new chapter (Epilogue 1) about my recent experiences, in September 2018, trying to defend a Bedouin village “Khan al-Ahmar” in the West Bank. To prevent its destruction by Israeli forces, I and other activists stepped in front of a bulldozer. I was subsequently arrested, imprisoned in Jerusalem and then deported to France.
