Frank Romano reads a new poetry work: “Gunned Down.” A few days earlier, the author was in the Holy Land. The night after the author had organized a Peace & Freedom demonstration in Jenin, West Bank, Israeli soldiers stormed the Jenin Refugee Camp to arrest a Palestinian youth accused of terrorist activities. He was shot and killed.
The next day, the author was prevented from leaving Jenin, due to a riot by Palestinians protesting the killing of their compatriot the night before. During the uprising, however, something magical happened, as portrayed in the  following poem.
